Description:
In this course, actors will learn the basics of musical theater, including a
variety of dancing, acting and singing skills.
Methodology: This class will
encompass acting, singing, and dance. Students will gain the following:
confidence, increased performance skills, increased singing skills, development
of stage presence, team dynamics, memorization techniques, and increased
creativity.
Students who participate in this
class will have the option to audition for our spring 2018 children’s musical. Please
note that students will be required to memorize lines.

Description:
Creative Story telling is an exciting new acting class. The mission of this
class is to teach young performers imaginative acting and storytelling
techniques. In this course, actors will perform short stories and scripts using
various creative methods.
Methodology: Some of the
methods students will incorporate in their acting will be movement, dance,
music, and props. This course will largely incorporate group work. In Creative
Story-Telling, students will gain the following: confidence, increased
performance skills, team dynamics, and increased creativity.

Course
Description:
Children’s Drama Workshop is the perfect course for beginning performers. Participants
will learn acting skills and techniques, how to role play, how to exercise
their improvisational skills, and how to use group dynamics to enhance their
performance. There are no pre-requisites. This course is perfect for children
who want to pursue performance or who want to increase their acting skills.
Methodology: This course
will largely incorporate group work. Children
will participate in group games, activities, and role play to help them develop
theater skills.
